Quality Assurance with Lynette Kemerling

Posted in Blog on September 11, 2018

Quality Assurance: it should be a guaranteed priority with all products and services, but from cold fries to faulty appliances, we’ve all had some degree of negative experience when a ball was dropped on the company’s part.

At Midwest Fire, we strive for the highest standard in workmanship for our customers. One mark of that standard within the manufacturing community is the ISO:9001 certification, which is an international standard that establishes requirements for businesses’ quality management systems.

Enter Lynette Kemerling, Continuous Improvement Tech.

Lynette Kemerling

With over 20 years of experience working in improving quality management methods, Lynette was a welcome addition to the Midwest team in March of 2016 in efforts to streamline and improve quality assurance. She has been hard at work setting systems in place that ensure the consistent and dependable quality true to Midwest Fire is delivered to every single customer.

A day in the life of Lynette involves resolving any issues or returns with suppliers, documenting the progress of apparatus and the “whys” behind what is being done in production, and generally examining process improvement within the quality measures taken at Midwest Fire.

Our team ensures that all quality management methods are top-notch. With the help of employees involved in the process, Midwest Fire has implemented checklists for each delivered chassis, tank, and body, ensuring every detail is right down to the last hole and compartment. To keep processes running as efficiently and timely as possible, Lynette has helped the Midwest Fire employees streamline their procedures.

Quality is at the heart of what sets Midwest Fire apart from every other dealer and manufacturer. From customer service to apparatus parts, we are always working to improve our processes to better serve you. With Lynette’s expertise and the team’s hard work, Midwest Fire is on its way to being ISO:9001 certified by the end of 2019.
