(LUVERNE, MN) AUG. 13, 2018 – Midwest Fire Equipment & Repair Company (Midwest Fire) is again named a finalist in the Small Business Category of Minnesota Business Magazine’s “Made in Minnesota Manufacturing Awards.” The award recognizes a small company (1-50 employees) who demonstrates overall excellence in the state’s booming manufacturing industry. This is the second time in three years Midwest Fire has been nominated for this award.

Midwest Fire is a direct-seller and manufacturer of custom fire apparatus and offers continued support to customers with maintenance and repairs. They have been a finalist previously for the Manufacturing Awards and placed on Prairie Business Magazine 50 Best Places to Work List, among several other honors in recent years.

Minnesota Business Magazine holds this award every year to highlight the state’s most prestige manufacturing companies. Following their nominations, an independent panel of judges within the manufacturing community selects the finalists from an elite group of manufacturing companies. The winners will be announced at an award ceremony on September 20^th in Minneapolis. Minnesota Business will also feature the represented companies in the September/October issue of the magazine.
