Why Invest in an All-Poly® Fire Truck
Midwest Fire is proud to provide high-quality, state-of-the-art fire vehicles to our customers. The best examples of this quality and value can be seen in our All-Poly® Series of tankers, tanker-pumpers, pumpers, and quick attack vehicles.
What Makes All Poly Vehicles So Tough?
The body of an All-Poly vehicle is made of redesigned polypropylene in place of stainless-steel. Polypropylene is a rust-proof, corrosion-proof material that is lightweight while remaining strong and rigid. The impact-resistant bodies are more resistant to accidents or downtime, and unlike stainless steel, the raw poly that makes up the lockers on the body of the truck doesn’t require a coating of a protective spray-in liner.
What really sets our All-Poly Series apart is that we offer a lifetime tank and body warranty – an unprecedented vote of trust in the durability and quality of the finished product. You won’t see dents in the body, as you do with their aluminum counterparts – even the weld joints hold up under serious pressure! Check out this video showing how durable and resilient polypropylene is against some major stress tests:
Our polypropylene tanks are provided by APR Plastic Fabricating, Inc., out of Fort Wayne, Indiana. This company is one of the few in the US that design and fabricate copolymer products in accordance with the DVS standards set forth by the German Welding Society.
